I've decided to stop posting at my technology blog and use this one for all topics. I don't understand why there is such a huge wordpress following in the designer community. I find their interface quite buggy and dysfunctional. I'm unable to modify in html mode and the GUI interface doesn't work right currently. Perhaps it's a Firefox issue but if Wordpress is meant to be used in IE, that's a sure-fire way to ensure I'll never use it.
So back to the subject of the post I was going to publish to that blog before I experienced a multitude of issues...
I came across this website through Design Meltdown. The emphasis was on icon-based design examples and I think it's a nice trend. I'm a very visually oriented person and there are lots of free & lovely icon sets out there for download.
This site in particular I think has a nice, clean, yet visually intuitive/friendly design:

I have a couple new website projects upcoming and I'd really like to give this approach a try!
